St\u00e9phanie Roy is a student, researcher, and lawyer motivated by the desire to redress the current environmental crisis. She is a doctoral candidate in administrative law at Universit\u00e9 Laval and she is particularly interested in the government\u2019s obligations with regard to the environment. Her doctoral research examines the trusteeship theory, a form of governance that would allow greater responsibility for the environment to be attributed to the state.<\/p>\n
She is currently a professor at Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke and is completing her doctorate in administrative law at Universit\u00e9 Laval, under the supervision of Professor Pierre Lemieux. Her research and teaching focus on administrative law, environmental law and environmental governance.
