Before studying law, Annabelle studied and worked in environmental science and geography. It was through the Energy East pipeline saga that she first heard about the CQDE and became interested in law as a tool for accountability. She was a research assistant at the Superior Court, a teaching assistant at McGill’s School of Environment, and worked at the Lapointe Légal law firm before joining the CQDE as a Bar intern in the summer of 2025.
